In 1982, Teacher Tan Mei graduated from Anhui Agricultural University with a major in tea making. From 1982 to 2003, I worked at the Kunming Tea Factory of the former Yunnan Tea Import and Export Company, serving as a quality inspector, inspection chief, and technical deputy factory director. I studied under Professor Wu Qiying, the founder of Pu""er tea artificial pile fermentation technology and former factory director of Kunming Tea Factory. I was responsible for Pu""er tea production and processing, quality inspection, and technical improvement. Since 2004, I have been serving as the technical director of Yunnan Cangyuan Wushan Tea Factory. So far, Teacher Tan Mei has been engaged in the fermentation and production processing of Pu""er tea for more than 40 years.
In the Wodui section, Teacher Tan Mei inherited the Wodui fermentation technique that has been passed down from the original Kunming Tea Factory to the present day, restoring the mellow and smooth cooked Pu flavor; In the blending process, Teacher Tan Mei and her team will conduct repeated blending experiments and soup evaluation, continuously exploring and achieving classic tea drink flavors that are deeply loved by consumers for decades.
